Salgótarjáni Vasfinomító Társulat néven jött létre 1868-ban, majd 1881-ben megalakult Rimamurányi-Salgótarjáni Vasmű Rt. Később Salgótarjáni Acélgyár, Salgótarjáni Acélárugyár, Salgótarjáni Kohászati Üzemek néven ismerhettük.

A felvételen a Salgótarjáni Kohászati Üzemek Acélárugyár dróthúzó üzeme a dolgozókkal. A fotó 1911 után készült. Hazánk egyik legrégebbi ipari nagyüzeme. Salgótarjáni Vasfinomító Társulat néven jött létre 1868-ban, majd 1881-ben megalakult Rimamurányi-Salgótarjáni Vasmű Rt. Később Salgótarjáni Acélgyár, Salgótarjáni Acélárugyár, Salgótarjáni Kohászati Üzemek néven ismerhettük.
