A felvételen Bóna Kovács Károly A 25. gyalogezred emlékére című domborműve látható, melyet a művész 1931-32-ben készített. Az alkotás anyaga homokkő (műkő). Avatására 1932. június 19-én került sor a Rákóczi úton a Római Katolikus templom támfalában. 1971-ben áthelyezték a "régi" köztemetőben kapott helyet a második támfalsor oldalában. "Mi elestünk, de él az eszme, a feltámadás nincs már messze" felirat volt olvasható rajta.
