A városi tanösvény Salgótarján Megyei Jogú Város Önkormányzata "Játszóház kialakítása és játszótér felújítása Salgótarjánban" című projekt keretében készült 2019-ben. A 15 állomás interaktív táblája sok érdekes témát kínál a városi közegben. A kezdő tábla a Meredek utca és a Szerpentin út kereszteződésében a Meselépcsőnél található.
A felvétel 2022-ben, Salgótarján várossá nyilvánításának 100. , centenáriumi évében készült.

A felvételen Czinke Ferenc Városköszöntő térplasztikája látható. Az alkotás felállításának éve 1982. április 28. (szerda), helye a 22-es és a 21-es főközlekedési út találkozásánál, a körforgalom melletti parkban (Budapesti út, Csokonai út).
Avatásáról a Kelet-Magyarország 1982. április 29.-i számában olvasható:
"Városköszöntő térplasztikát avattak szerdán Salgótarján déli, Budapesti úti bejáratánál. Az acélból, üvegből, tűzzománc lapokból és fából kialakított obeliszket — Salgótarján várossá nyilvánításának 60. évfordulójára — Czinke Ferenc grafikusművész készítette. "
Bekerülési költsége: 1.200.000 Ft
A művész a város iparára jellemző anyagokból állította össze a művét. A térplasztika hat-nyolc méter magas.
