A felvételen a Salgói fogaskerekű szerelvénye látható a Kútház vízvételi állomáson. A vasút 1881-ben indult meg Salgótarjánban, a vasgyár és a salgóbányai I. szénrakodó között , mintegy 5,8 kilométeres hosszban. Utoljára 1956 őszén, a forradalom előtt közlekedtek a vonatok, a pálya bontását 1957 júliusában kezdték el.
