A kétosztatú képeslapon távolabbi és közelebbi felvételen "Bér-nagyhegyi - ie. 13 millió évvel ezelőtt létrejött - vulkanológiai érdekesség, az andezit oszlopsor, melynek különlegessége homorú megszilárdultságában áll. A Nagy-hegy északi oldalán több feltárásban és feltárulásban találkozhatunk andezittel. Egyik helyen - a hegy gerincén - tüskés tarajként sorakoznak az oszlopok, másutt csaknem függőlegesen állnak. A letisztítás, a tudományos számbavétel még nem történt meg. A jövő nagy feladatát jelenti e ritka kincs feltárása és közkincsé tétele. Ezek a ritkaságok sajnos ma még nem eléggé ismertek. A kövek között jellegzetes sziklai növények telepedtek meg. A terület tájvédelmi körzetté van nyilvánítva." /forrás: Bér község weboldala/

A négyosztatú képeslapon Bér település részletei: balra fent az I. világháborús emlékmű, jobbra a béri evangélikus templom. A templom helyén valaha egy középkori templom állt, amelynek alapjaira 1721-ben építették rá ma is álló, barokk stílusú templomot. A műemléki védelem alatt álló templomot az évek során több alkalommal átalakították és felújították, ennek ellenére helyenként fel lehet fedezni XIV. századi gótikus részleteket. Balra lent az Andezit Hotel kő tornya, mellette palóc ház.
