A felvételen a szécsényi vár kétszintes, kör alakú kúpos tetejű tornya látható, mely a XV. század végén, a XVI. század elején készült. A XVIII. században börtönnek használták, majd kórházat rendeztek be benne.
Az egykori városfalak hossza a bástyákkal együtt 880-900 méter, ebből 620 méter szabadon vagy beépítve ma is áll. Az erődrendszer falainak 70 %-a látható ma. Egy XVIII. századi térkép kilenc bástyát ábrázol, ebből 3 bástya ma is látható, mindhárom alakja eltérő.

A felvételen a szécsényi Kubinyi Ferenc Múzeum belső terének részlete - folyosó és lépcsősor - látható. A falakon látható kiállítási anyag - a Magyar Mezőgazdasági Múzeum rendezésében, javarészt a budapesti szakmúzeum gyűjteményi anyagából - Vadászat-Vadgazdálkodás címen 1975-1985 közötti állandó kiállítás trófeái.
A múzeum az egykori Forgách-család rezidenciájában, a Forgách-kastély fő- és melléképületeiben került kialakításra. A Múzeum épülete - a hozzá tartozó kastélykerttel - az országban számon tartott 39 történelmi emlékhely egyike. A Nógrád Megyei Múzeumi Szervezet egyik legfiatalabb intézménye a szécsényi Kubinyi Ferenc Múzeum. 1973 óta működik a felújított Forgách-kastélyban, 1979. február 1-jén vette fel hivatalosan a megyében elsőként régészeti kutatásokat folytató Kubinyi Ferenc nevét.
Régészeti és történeti gyűjtőkörrel rendelkezik az intézmény, területi múzeumként Nógrád megye régészeti emlékeinek szakfelügyeletét, gyűjtését, valamint a 19. század közepéig a történeti-, napjainkig a helytörténeti emlékek gyűjtését látja el.
