A felvételen a Salgói fogaskerekű szerelvénye látható a Kútház vízvételi állomáson. A vasút 1881-ben indult meg Salgótarjánban, a vasgyár és a salgóbányai I. szénrakodó között , mintegy 5,8 kilométeres hosszban. Utoljára 1956 őszén, a forradalom előtt közlekedtek a vonatok, a pálya bontását 1957 júliusában kezdték el.

A felvételen a Somoskői vár alatt található Petőfi ligetben lévő Petőfi kunyhó belseje látható. A kunyhó a költő 1845. június 12-i idelátogatásának emlékét őrzi. A mai kunyhó az eredeti 1965-ben összeomlott épület helyén épült. A kunyhóban Petőfi emlékkiállítás tekinthető meg, mely szabadon, ingyenesen látogatható.
