Az ötosztatú képeslapon bátonyterenyei részletek: balra fent a Gyürky-Solymossy-kastély, középen a Bányász emlékmű Molnár Péter alkotása, jobbra a nagybátonyi műemlék jellegű Szent György vértanú templom (a bátonyi hívek földesuruk, püspökük engedélyével építették föl 1735-ben a faluban templomukat, a lengyendi templom köveit részben felhasználva. Szentélye háromkaréjos, mely utalhat a korábbi lengyendi templom románkori formájára), alul balra bányavárosi parkrészlet a lakótelepi épületekkel, jobbra a maconkai Szent István király-templom belseje (a kicsi, torony nélküli egyhajós templom 13. században épült, a freskóit a XIII. vagy a XIV. században festették. A török korban tűz által elpusztult. A boltozatot a 18. században építették újjá, ekkor nyitottak új bejáratot is ).

Ez a fajta barokk kastélytípus a Kárpát-medence felvidéki részén volt elterjedt. Ilyen stílusban készült épület a trianoni békeszerződés után nem maradt több Magyarországon. /forrás: Szállás.hu/, a kisterenyei vasútállomás, a nagybátonyi városrész lakótelep, valamint a régi városháza.
