A felvételen a szécsényi Kubinyi Ferenc Múzeum belső terének részlete - folyosó és lépcsősor - látható. A falakon látható kiállítási anyag - a Magyar Mezőgazdasági Múzeum rendezésében, javarészt a budapesti szakmúzeum gyűjteményi anyagából - Vadászat-Vadgazdálkodás címen 1975-1985 közötti állandó kiállítás trófeái.
A múzeum az egykori Forgách-család rezidenciájában, a Forgách-kastély fő- és melléképületeiben került kialakításra. A Múzeum épülete - a hozzá tartozó kastélykerttel - az országban számon tartott 39 történelmi emlékhely egyike. A Nógrád Megyei Múzeumi Szervezet egyik legfiatalabb intézménye a szécsényi Kubinyi Ferenc Múzeum. 1973 óta működik a felújított Forgách-kastélyban, 1979. február 1-jén vette fel hivatalosan a megyében elsőként régészeti kutatásokat folytató Kubinyi Ferenc nevét.
Régészeti és történeti gyűjtőkörrel rendelkezik az intézmény, területi múzeumként Nógrád megye régészeti emlékeinek szakfelügyeletét, gyűjtését, valamint a 19. század közepéig a történeti-, napjainkig a helytörténeti emlékek gyűjtését látja el.

Az emlékiratai szerint a fejedelem a Borjúpáston lévő sátrában lakott, de gyakran feljárt a kolostorba, ahol gyermekkori nevelője, Bárkányi János volt akkor a házfőnök.

Úgy érzem a Mikszáth Társaság minden tagjának illik ezt beszereznie. Megrendelhető utánvéttel Salgótarjánban a Balassi Bálint Könyvtár címén (Salgótarján, Kassai sor 2.). Ára: 1850 forint plusz postaköltség. (A könyvterjesztői jutalékot befizetjük a Társaság támogatására.) A jeles mű társasági bemutatására októberben, Kálmán napján kerül sor.
