A kép központjában az 1902-ben épült, 1969-ben lebontott, Szvoboda György által tervezett zsinagóga. A bal oldali épület a volt zsidó iskola, a villanyoszlop mögött a régi postaépület látható. A kép jobb szélén a Kisboldogasszony római katolikus templom

A képeslapon a háttérben a református templom épülete (tornya már nem látható a felvételen), mellette erdős hegyoldal, jobb oldalán lakóház oromfala és teteje, a templom előtt ünneplőruhás hívek, nők-férfiak-gyermekek vegyesen, néhány embernél esernyő, a kép alsó harmadában bal oldalt facsemete, középen lépcső, jobb oldalt lovak húzta szekér a felvirágozott haranggal; a képen láthatók a harangbeemelés kellékei: csörlő, a toronyba vezető kötél, deszkapallók a lépcsősoron
