A felvételen a „Bánya a lábunk alatt” emlékmű - földalatti bemutatóhely - látható. Az emlékmű egy háromszor három méteres járható üvegfödémmel fedett, földalatti bemutatóhely, amely egy bányarészletet ábrázol, vájár figurával, csillével. Előtte emléktábla található, melynek felirata: "Szerencse fel! Szerncse le! Ilyen a bányász élete" Részlet a bányászhimnuszból". Az emlékmű ünnepélyes átadására 2011. szeptember 3-án szombaton került sor.

A felvételen a Mérleg út és Rákóczi út övezte kis téren található műkő díszkút látható. A gömbökből épített szökőkút 1986 előtt került a helyére. 1986 júliusában gazdasági okok miatt már nem üzemelt, mivel az építmény alá vízforgatót nem építettek be.
A felvétel 2022-ben, Salgótarján várossá nyilvánításának 100. , centenáriumi évében készült.

A felvételen a város első múzeuma megalapításának emléket állító tábla látható. A fekete gránitból készült emléktábla egy a karancskeszi kőbányából hozatott ötmázsás andezittömbön került elhelyezésre. Ünnepélyes leleplezésére 1999. május 19-én került sor a Csillagház előtti parkban.
