A Karancs szálló éttermét egykor díszítő Csohány Kálmán képzőművész Énekek éneke című kerámiafalának mintájára újragondolva készítették el a szállóhoz kötődő személyiségeket, tárgyakat és a mai fiatalok portréit megörökítő közös alkotásukat. A muráliát a Karancs épületével szemben a Március 15. úti lakótömb Fő tér felé néző homlokzatfalán helyezték el. Avatására 2019. július 7-én került sor a Karancs Fieszta keretében.

A felvételen a Nepomuki Szent János szobor helyét őrző emléktábla látható. A tábla felirata: "Itt állt Nepomuki Szent János szobra 1871-1946 között a Magyar Millenium jegyében állította Salgótarján Megyei Jogú Város Önkormányzata és a Salgótarjáni Római Katolikus Főplébánia 2001"
Az emléktáblát Varga István készítette, anyaga mészkő és fekete gránit. Avatására 2001. augusztus 19-én került sor, avatóbeszédet dr. Bercsényi Lajos egyházügyi tanácsnok, imát dr. Lébényi Antal, római katolikus főesperes mondott az eseményen.
