A bal oldali ösvényen elindulva a kanyargós gyalogúton 14 stáció között jutunk el a tetőn lévő három keresztig. A jelenlegi stációképek műkő másolatok, Tarnovean Katona Tamás restaurátor készítette el diplomamunkaként 2013-ban. Szobrát tiszteletére az önkormányzat állíttatta a róla elnevezett - parkban, az átalakított kis főtéren. A szobor alkotója Molnár Péter szobrászművész. A mészkőből készült szobor Förster Kálmánt ülve, öltönyben, a vállára terített kabáttal, maga mellé tett kalappal ábrázolja, a térdén bezárt könyv nyugszik. A szobrot 2012. július 29-én Salgótarján várossá válásának 90. évfordulóján avatták fel.
