A kétosztatú képeslapon a Hasznosi víztározó (A Hasznosi víztározó a Mátra nyugati lankái között található. A tó 1973 és 1986 között jött létre a Kövecses patak felduzzasztásával. Elsődleges célja, hogy ivóvízzel lássa el a környező településeket. A tározót a Csörgő patak és a Mátrából lefolyó esővíz táplálja. A tó területe 23 hektár, mely mintegy 2 millió köbméter víz tárolására teszi alkalmassá. Átlagmélysége 17 méter... forrás: komra-hasznos.hu), a Római Katolikus templom - Mária Magdolna templom - (A XV. században gótikus stílusban épült templom hajóját a középkori falak felhasználásával 1740-ben alakították ki barokk stílusban. Mellékhajója a XIX. században készült.
A főbejárat szegmentíves, ablakai félkörívesek. A toronycsarnok donga-, a hajó süveg-, a szentély fiókos keresztboltozatos, ez utóbbi középkori. A mellékhajót korábbi donga- és csehsüveg-boltozata helyett ma síkfödém fedi. Oltára, szószéke klasszicista. A fotón a hasznosi vár maradványai láthatók. A Cserteri vár romja a Mátrában a Hasznosi-víztározó fölé magasodó 383 m magas sziklacsúcson található. Első írásos említése 1304-ből való. Az 1300–1320 között épült vár a Kövecses-patak völgyében haladó mátrai hadiutat őrző három vár egyike volt. 1329-ben Castellanus de Hasnos néven említik. Az idők folyamán rommá lett vár köveit a lakosság építkezéshez használta fel. Napjainkra maradványait teljesen beborította a növényzet, csak két magasabb falmaradvány emelkedik a lombok fölé.
