A felvételen Vass Viktor alkotása, Bolyai János mellszobra látható. Az alkotás avatásának időpontja 1984. május 11., helyszíne a Bolyai János Gimnázium épülete előtt. Vass Viktor süttői mészkőből készült alkotását Budapest Fővárosi Tanács ajándékát. már 1951-ben leleplezték Budapesten. Hosszú időn át az időközben megszűnt városligeti Művészsétány egyik szegletét díszítette. A szobor végleges helye Salgótarján lett.
A felvétel 2022-ben, Salgótarján várossá nyilvánításának 100. , centenáriumi évében készült.
