A négyosztatú képeslapon egyházasdengelegi épületek:az általános iskola és óvoda, az evangélikus templom (Egyházasdengeleg evangélikus templomának első említése 1655-ből való, akkor a község az ellen tiltakozott, hogy templomát katolikusnak mondják ki. Az 1931-es Canonica Visitatió szerint a falu temploma 1787-ben a korábbi imaház helyén épült újjá. A mai templomot 1837-ben építették és 1865-ig Szirák fíliája volt. Épített főoltára a 19. század első évtizedeiből való. A klasszicista stílusú templom egyhajós, megközelítően keletelt, középtornyos.
A főhomlokzat középrésze enyhén előreugrik, e rizalit folytatásaként emelkedik ki a sima oromzatok közül a toronytest. A téglalap alakú hajó mindkét oldalfalát 5-5 falpillér tagolja, szentélye egyeneszáródású. Főbejárata szegmentív záródású, kőkeretében az építés évszámával. A toronyfeljáró a déli oldalról nyílik. Toronycsarnoka dongaboltozatos, a hajó sík mennyezetű. forrás: wikipédia), a katolikus templom (A község első írásos említésénél régebbi a katolikus templom, amely a 11-12. század fordulóján, a Szent Imre kultusz idején épülhetett. Akkor lett plébániává, amely megszakítás nélkül fennállt a törökök bejöveteléig. A hatosztatú képeslapon ecsegi részletek Ecseg község címerével. Pincesor, Római katolikus templom (A mai barokk templom építése 1780-ban kezdõdött, míg felszentelése a Historia Domus szerint 1792-ben történt. A toronycsarnok belsõ kapujába vésett 1834-es évszám újabb építkezést tételez fel. A mai toronysisakot 1880-ban készítették. A templom régi harangja Patay Pál szerint legkorábban a XV. század második felében készülhetett, 1908-ban a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeumba került. A magasépítésû, egyhajós, elõreugró középtornyos, keletelt templom tornya gótikus, XV. századi, 1780 és 1792 között épült hajója és szentélye barokk stílusú. A templom középkori eredetét vakolatlan, terméskõ falazata is jól szemlélteti. A torony, a hajó és a szentély tengelyei enyhe töréssel kapcsolódnak. Szentélye keskenyebb, szegmentíves záródású, két oldalán sekrestyével. Hajója kétboltszakaszos, fõoltára és a mellékoltárok a XVIII. században készültek, barokk stílusúak, szószéke klasszicizáló. forrás: miserend.hu), utcarészlet, látkép.
