A felvételen a természet alkotta védőmű - Baglyaskő kétágú megkövesedett lávaoszlopa látható, egykori várának romjaival. A magas hegyekkel körül kerített keskeny völgyben fekvő kerek kősziklán épített, kőfallal körülvett, többszintes toronyszerű gerendavár csupán rejtekhelyként szolgált. Az 1268-as oklevelek valószínűleg ezt a várat említik. Az erődítmény 1300-as évek elején fontos útellenőrző pont volt, történelmünkben jelentős szerepe nem volt, a XV. században már elpusztult. A fotó az 1970-es években készült.
