Az építkezés részeként épült meg 1931-ben a Magyar feltámadás barlang. A barlang nyílását Nagy-Magyarország formájára alakították ki. A dróthálóval lezárt barlangban a magyar nemzeti legendárium egyik legjelentősebb mozzanata volt látható; amikor István király felajánlja a koronát Szűz Máriának.

An account of the resource
A felvételen Báthory István (1533-1586) erdélyi fejedelem és lengyel király teljes alakos szobra. A két méter magas, fagyálló, fehéres siroki kőből készült alkotást Bóna Kovács Károly szobrászművész készítette. Ünnepélyes felállítására 1933. november 5-én került sor a salgótarjáni honvédlaktanya előtti téren.
