szertartása szerint helyezzük a kisterenyei temetőben örök nyugalomra.
Az engesztelő szentmiseáldozatot április 28-án délután fél 4 órakor mutatjuk
be a kisterenyei templomban.

dr. Fitz József
az Országos Széchényi Könyvtár nyugalmazott főigazgatója, egyetemi rendkívüli tanár, az irodalomtudományok kandidátusa
1964. szeptember 12-én, életének hetvenhatodik évében hosszas betegség után elhunyt.
A magyar könyv- és nyomdatörténeti kutatás egyik legkiemelkedőbb hazai művelőjét, a magyar könyvtárügy elismert szaktekintélyét, nemzedékek nevelőjét veszítette el.
Fitz Józsefet az Országos Széchényi Könyvtár saját halottjának tekinti.
Temetése 1964. szeptember 18-án, pénteken délután fél három órakor lesz a rákoskeresztúri köztemetőben.
