A képeslapon fehér keretben 5x14 cm-es fekvő felvétel, Hollókő Ófalu utcarészlet a Római katolikus templommal. (... falu központjában, a domb tetején kialakított „szigeten” áll a kis fatornyos, zsindellyel fedett templom, melyet 1889-ben közadakozásból építettek, és amelynek egyszerűségéből fakadó szépsége ma is megkapó. Hollókő a palóc régiót jellemző, a történelmi, egyutcás, fésűs beépítésű falutípust képviseli, melynek alapstruktúrája a központi útra merőlegesen, keskeny szalagtelkeken elhelyezkedő házak kettős vonala, amely úgy alakult ki, hogy a családok egyetlen telekre építkeztek, és a létszám növekedésével az utcára néző első ház mögött egyszerűen egy újat emeltek.
